Fibromyalgia, Chronic secondary Lyme infection, Hypothyroid, Adrenal fatigue, Systematic Candida, Chronic Fatigue, Bursitis, Frozen Shoulder, Torn & pulled shoulder ligaments in both shoulders and left hip& right side of back.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 12 years ago and been taking 5-10mg vicodin per day - just found out in August 2013 that I have lyme secondary infections for the past 12 years not Fibromyalgia. I was treated with supplements with a Lyme infection by a alternative specialist with horrible hex reactions for 6 months. My body almost shut down because my liver was not strong enough to detox the die-off out of my body. I was referred to a DO in Wilcox, AZ. My pain level on my first visit was a 15 (Scale 1-10). He examined me and said I had a torn shoulder tendon, 2 herniated discs, frozen shoulder & bursitis. The DO doctor gave me a cortisol injection (helped for about 2 days) and asked me if I would like to try a different script instead of hydrocodone. I started taking 4.5mg of LDN along with 300 mg alpha lipoic acid (ALA) an antioxidant supplement you can buy at any high-end vitamin store in December 2013. I did have insomnia and vivid dreams for about 30 days - now I sleep like a baby (currently getting off Ambien 2.5mg). Within 3 weeks I was able to use my left arm and my pain was slowly going away. The doctor gave me valium 10 mg per day to help with current pain - still taking it (around 2 - 4 mg per day). I am currently on my 15th week of taking LDN & ALA - my energy went from a 1 to a 8. My pain fluctuates between 2-3. My shoulder pain is now described as more annoying than pain. I was getting ready to file for permanent disability in December 2013 and now I am looking for a part-time job. I have been telling everyone about this miraculous LDN. I stopped taking hydrocodone (12 years) & baclofen (2 years) I forgot what it was like to feel like a normal person and not to have to deal with excruciating pain on a daily basis. I still take naps during the end of the day, my brain fog is getting better and I exercise everyday. I do take numerous supplements. As of January 1st I have been eating gluten free, little caffeine, no sugar, 90% non processed food & no alcohol - I am trying to build up my immune system and working to rid my body of systematic Candida through healthy eating and supplements. I still have the Lyme, but I need to get my immune system strong enough so I can take supplements & alternate treatments for the Lyme. I am sharing this information with the world so I can help others with Autoimmune diseases and chronic pain.
